This role is with our portfolio company, MythWorx, an AI-focused engineering firm based in Dallas, TX, developing next-generation hybrid cloud systems, vector search capabilities, and high-performance automation technologies.
Job description
MythWorx is building next-generation AI systems that blend cloud, on-prem, and vector-driven architectures. As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll design, build, and deploy high-performance applications powering our hybrid cloud platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work across backend, frontend, cloud, DevOps, and vector search components to accelerate product development and system performance.
You will collaborate directly with engineering leadership to shape core infrastructure, optimize system performance, and bring new capabilities to market.

Backend engineering using Rust and Python to build scalable APIs and services.

Develop and maintain high-performance vector search pipelines leveraging Qdrant.

Architect systems that run reliably across Oracle Cloud, GCP, and on-prem environments.

Build intuitive, responsive UI components using React, Vue, or similar frameworks.

Integrate frontend apps with vector-powered backends and real-time data systems.

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Support multi-cloud + hybrid deployments, ensuring reliability and performance.

Implement DevOps best practices, including containerization and orchestration.

Work with Docker/Kubernetes to manage environments and scale services.

Contribute to system optimization, performance tuning, and infrastructure improvements.
Experience & Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Rust and Python.

Hands-on experience building APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.

Experience with Qdrant or other vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).

Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, embeddings, or vector search pipelines.

Experience deploying systems across GCP, Oracle Cloud, or hybrid/on-prem environments.

Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).

Strong understanding of DevOps, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Ability to design scalable architectures and optimize system performance.

Experience working in fast-paced environments or early-stage product teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
