Mark Crumblish is the CEO and Founder of Eagle Venture Studio, bringing more than 30 years of high-stakes leadership across technology, venture creation, and complex operational environments. A former U.S. Naval Aviator with 232 aircraft-carrier landings, Mark blends disciplined execution with entrepreneurial creativity. His background includes an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, advanced degrees in aviation systems and national resource strategy, and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy. That foundation shaped a career defined by rigorous thinking, decisive leadership, and the ability to build high-performing teams.
Mark has been a founder, investor, executive, or operator in more than 20 early-stage companies across SaaS, wireless, multimedia, aviation, and financial services. He previously ran operations for a technology incubator that commercialized defense innovations—launching six companies in just 18 months and producing several successful exits. His corporate leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, Rockwell Collins, and ITT Industries resulted in the capture of over $9 billion in new business. He has also led corporate M&A functions, executed transactions from $2M to $300M, and founded his own M&A advisory firm. Across every chapter, Mark has repeatedly delivered strong economics, operational clarity, and scalable commercial strategy.
Today, Mark serves as a driving force behind Eagle Venture Studio’s disciplined, repeatable venture-building model. He is known for his servant-leadership mindset, deep operational expertise, and commitment to developing rising leaders—mentoring dozens of founders and executives across the U.S. Beyond venture building, Mark is an accomplished pilot with more than 3,500 flight hours in 20 aircraft types, a dedicated drummer, and a recreational hockey player. He and his wife Sue Ellen have been married since 1986 and enjoy life with their three adult children and four grandchildren.
