Joseph McDonald is a Venture Strategy Analyst at Eagle Venture Studio, where he supports portfolio companies through product development, financial modeling, and process automation across multiple early-stage SaaS ventures. He brings a sharp, data-driven mindset shaped by hands-on experience in equity research, financial analysis, and operational strategy. Joseph contributes to strategic initiatives for Eagle Venture Fund as well; he created EVF’s first industry report when he sized the Counter Human Trafficking Technology Market and is involved in EVF’s mission to empower impact investors through public equities trading.
Joseph currently serves as the Chief Research Officer on the Executive Board of the Patrick Henry Investment Group (PHIG), where he provides executive leadership to over 30 analysts in the group. Joseph developed PHIG’s investment thesis for the 2025 fiscal year, trained the next generation of leaders, and earned a spot in the top 20 at the CBS GLOBAL Case Competition. Previously, he served as Senior Equity Analyst and Equity Analyst, conducting market research, valuation modeling, and competitive analysis across multiple sectors.
